Time to stroll with Lisa and Tim Trudell otherwise known as the Walking Tourists. I became acquainted with Tim and Lisa through their books 100 Things to Do In Omaha Before you Die and of course Unique Eats and Eateries of Omaha. They also have an upcoming book focused on preserving the history of our Omaha restaurants which have been a part of our lives from daily lunches or maybe a special celebration. Conversation is afoot on this walk with the Walking Tourists.

The name of the place really does relate to the experience because I felt right at home. Hang on to your fork and listen if you’re hungry.

If you haven't heard this one, it's a fun episode with Dave, Sam, and TJ at Fizzy's Fountain and Liquors. There's even a call directly to the restaurant during the podcast. New episodes will resume next week, but hopefully this will help with the hunger.
