Chef Wirachakul goes by Pla, the namesake of her restaurant, which means fish and she means care and craft when she is in the kitchen and that expertise makes it your table. Pla and I got to talk all things Thai, handle some misconceptions about this wonderful cuisine, how she adapts to dietary needs and even a tie in to long standing Omaha spot, Laos Thai on 24th and J St.

Jackie has been through so much in her life, but keeps pushing forward with her signature smile and positive outlook. She and husband Malcolm relocated to Omaha after departing two restaurants in St. Louis, MO. Their ribs and that delicious mac and cheese are here in Omaha and we have Jackie here on the show.
